This is your opportunity to join the Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) team and be a part of Vintage 2027 from the moment the grapes arrive as an Intake Operator. In this role you will develop practical skills, gain exposure to large-scale winery operations, and contribute to one of the busiest and most important periods in the wine production calendar.
As part of TWE’s vintage team, you’ll support the early stages of the winemaking process, helping ensure grape deliveries are received, assessed and processed efficiently. You’ll work alongside experienced winery and intake teams in a fast-paced production environment where quality, safety and teamwork are central to everything we do.
You’ll be supported with training, coaching and hands-on experience to help you build confidence in the role and understand how modern winery operations come together during vintage. About the Role
As a Vintage Intake Operator, you'll be one of the first points of contact in the winemaking journey, ensuring grapes delivered to the winery meet quality specifications and are processed efficiently. Your duties will include:
- Assess grape deliveries against quality standards and agreed specifications
- Create accurate weigh notes and intake documentation for deliveries
- Confirm deliveries align with intake schedules and site requirements
- Support smooth, efficient grape intake operations across vintage
- Work safely and cooperatively within a high-performing team
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to prioritise tasks and stay calm under pressure
- Commitment to safety, quality, and following procedures
- Basic computer literacy and accurate record keeping
- Hands-on experience in a world-class winery environment
- Support, training and coaching throughout the vintage period
