What is the difference between a labour hire agency and a recruitment agency?
A labour hire agency, sometimes called a temp agency or on-hired recruiter, employs the worker directly and places them with your business, handling rostering, payroll, insurance and employment compliance. A recruitment agency typically sources a candidate for you to employ directly yourself. Acclaimed Workforce provides both, providing comprehensive Contingent Labour, Permanent Recruitment and Workforce Management services.

How quickly can you fill a casual labour hire request?
For existing clients, casual labour hire requests can often be filled within the hour as we have a pool or screened candidates. Generally, it is recommended you allow a minimum of 24 hours, and longer for harder to source skill sets.
Please note with new clients, we must undertake a workplace assessment prior to casuals commencing to ensure the site is safe. Permanent placements typically take longer. Whether casual or permanent, we will provide an estimated timeframe when taking your job brief.
How do you ensure workers are safe and job ready before they start?
Every worker goes through a recruitment process built around the physical and safety requirements of the role, including skills verification and, where relevant, flex screening, hearing tests and drug and alcohol testing and Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks.
Acclaimed is ISO 45001 certified, and our safety team undertakes job assessments and works closely with recruitment consultants to confirm each candidate can do the job safely. Do labour hire workers get the same pay and conditions as permanent staff?
Yes. Acclaimed Workforce engages and pays all on-hired staff correctly under the relevant Award or agreement. With increased regulatory scrutiny of casual, seasonal and on-hired labour arrangements, our Workplace Relations team helps ensure engagement and pay rates are correct from day one, protecting both your business and the people we place.
