Acclaimed Workforce is a specialist Recruitment and Labour Hire agency in the Barossa Valley and the Northern suburbs. We are currently seeking a suitable candidate for a Vineyard Hand role, for a casual employment vacancy. This work will include working across our clients’ various sites based in the Barossa Valley.

The role involves high levels of repetitive manual handling tasks and would best suit applicants who are physically fit and in good health.

What we require:
• Ability to operate tractors and other vineyard machinery
• Hold a valid MR and/or Forklift Licence (highly desirable) - willingness to obtain MR licence if you don’t have one
• Capacity to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Motivation with a keen interest to learn and ask questions
• Actively participate in all harvesting activities, by hand and machine
• Undertake day-to-day operations of the vineyard as required
• Ability to follow instructions effectively and coordinate all activities with Supervisor.

About you
Successful applicants will naturally take pride in their work, be motivated to learn new skills, throw themselves into being one of the team, and have a good eye for detail and an overall positive attitude.

• Able to perform manual handling work and successfully pass a pre-employment medical check as part of the recruitment process
• Must have own transportation and valid driver’s licence
• Would be favourable to have Tractor experience, including use of various vineyard implements and knowledge of the daily operations of a vineyard
• Good work ethics, be reliable and be safety focused
• Ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure.

In conjunction with the above, a minimum of two (2) contactable, work-related referees must be supplied to be considered for this position.  Applicants must possess unrestricted working rights in Australia. Applicants living outside of Australia or 88-day Visa travellers will not be considered. We are seeking long-term workers in the region for casual on-going work.
