Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Operating machines, general manual handling and cleaning duties
- Following specifications with good eye to detail
- Start machinery and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance.
- Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance.
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
- Comply with all food, safety and health regulations.
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
- ** Previous machine operating experience in a food and/or beverage facility, or similar relevant experience, within the produce industry advantageous but not required
- Hold a current High Risk License and current Drivers Licence
- Experience operating forklifts in a Food and Beverage environment
- Previous truck loading/unloading experience
- Able and willing to do production work
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced production environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Good understanding and use of computers and recording systems - ability to learn
- Understanding of production and warehouse processes
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively and coordinate all activities with supervisor
- Ability to work in a team, but also own your own
- Adherence to occupational health and safety requirements
- Be motivated with a good work ethic and a keen interest to learn
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Forklift Licence is required for Forklift Operator Role
- Experience in Food or Pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Fluency in Mandarin is highly regarded but not essential
- Standard hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm. Monday to Friday, some flexibiliy between 6am - 5pm, when required
- Forklift & LR Truck Drivers
- Loading/unloading and material movement
- Relevant licences and experience required
- Manual handling of bags up to 25kg
- Packaging and can infeed operations
- Bag infeed, stacking, and sieve operations
- Ongoing work for the right candidates
- Stable weekday hours
