Acclaimed Workforce are experiencing high demand for workers on the bottling and packaging operations in the Barossa area. Acclaimed Workforce specialises in on hire recruitment and works closely with and provide employment services to industry leading companies in the Barossa Valley. Our clients are looking to hire Machine Operators starting next few weeks. Our ideal candidate has a stable employment history, a positive and collaborative attitude, a desire to look for ways of improvement, and a demonstrated ability and attitude to work safely when operating machinery. Based in the beautiful Barossa wine region you'll be working within a professional environment and with well known brands. The roles require you to supervise the filler / depal machinery or labeller, perform necessary adjustments to machines and productions as required for each wine. Continuously record that standards are met at all times throughout the shift. Full training provided for the right candidate who is exceedingly attentive and accurate.

You  must   reside in Australia and have  full working rights . Candidates abroad or with Working Holiday Visa will  not  be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Afternoon shifts 3pm-11pm Monday - Friday(1 position)
  • Rotating shifts day, arvo, night( multiple positions)
  • Machine operating including configuration of machine set-up
  • Able to troubleshoot solutions when machinery is down
  • Ensuring machines are working on full capacity and be able to learn and work on multiple machines in a fast-paced working environment
  • Quality checking & quality assurance
  • Testing of all finished product
  • Meeting KPI's and expectations
  • Adherence to occupational health and safety requirements
  • Ability to prioritise work tasks and able to follow instructions

 Requirements:
  • Vibrant and energetic work ethics
  • Car and driver's license 
  • Use of PPE
  • Good communication skills
  • Fast-learner
  • Ability to adapt to any type of working environment
  • Punctuality, reliability, and honesty is must
  • Previous experience working as a machine operator within the wine industry advantageous 
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • A strong awareness of workplace, health and safety practices
  • Must be able to provide a current resume with two recent contactable work references from your most recent employers
  • Capable of performing heavy lifting, repetitious manual tasks.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
