We are currently seeking " Expressions of Interest " for ad-hoc Forklift Operators to potentially work across various client sites based in the Barossa Valley for casual on-call shift work.
Candidates who can work across weekly rotating rosters will be highly regarded. Shift rotations vary between client sites.
Requirements to be considered:
- Confident & competent in all forklift operations with a valid Car and Forklift Licence
- Strong work ethics, highly reliable & punctual, good attitude, flexibility to undertake ad-hoc roles
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Experience in using RF scanners or willing to learn, basic computer literacy
- Competency to operate forklifts to stack/unstack goods, loading/unloading trailers, picking & packing orders
- Experience in warehousing operations - forklift operation on Conventional gas and/or electric forklifts, electric Reach forklifts
- Ability to work rotating shifts, when required – Night, Day Afternoon – Monday to Friday
To progress in our hiring process, you must be able to successfully pass the Acclaimed Workforce pre-employment criteria which will include a Musculoskeletal Assessment with Drug & Alcohol testing. A minimum of two (2) contactable work-related referees must be provided.
The right candidates will meet selection criteria based on previous Forklift experience and may be required to pass a Forklift WHS assessment to be successful.
Applicants must possess unrestricted working rights in Australia. We are seeking long-term workers in the region. No 88-day Visa travellers or applicants residing overseas will be considered.
