Acclaimed Workforce is a specialist recruitment and labour hire agency servicing the wine, manufacturing, and warehousing industries across key regional and metropolitan hubs. We are currently seeking multiple skilled Forklift Operators to join our team for casual ongoing work across various client sites based in the Barossa Valley.
Candidates with availability to work across weekly rotating rosters will be highly regarded. Shift patterns may vary depending on site requirements.
Key Skills & Attributes
• Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and tasks
• Experience using RF scanning technology in a logistics environment, or a willingness to learn
• Competent in general warehouse duties, including handling pallets of wet and dry goods, glass products (highly desirable), and loading/unloading trucks
• Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet daily workload demands
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Key Requirements
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia and currently residing in the local area
• Proven experience in warehousing and forklift operations, with a valid forklift licence
• Availability to work rotating shifts (day, afternoon, and night), Monday to Friday
• Reliable with strong attendance and commitment to work
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under direction
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including a musculoskeletal assessment and drug & alcohol testing
• Minimum of two contactable work-related referees
Additional Information
Candidates will be assessed against selection criteria based on their previous forklift experience and may be required to complete a Forklift WHS assessment as part of the recruitment process.
Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia. Please note applicants on short-term visas (including those seeking 88-day regional work) or those currently residing overseas will not be considered. We are seeking candidates available for ongoing, long-term work within the region.
