Duty Manager – TAB / Food & Beverage Venue

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a motivated and capable Duty Manager to join a busy and well-established hospitality venue. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing daily operations across TAB, bar and food service areas, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer experience and operational performance.
Our client is open to both experienced Duty Managers and individuals who may not yet hold formal supervisory titles but demonstrate the aptitude, attitude and drive to step into a leadership pathway and grow within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day venue operations across TAB, bar and food service areas
  • Support and lead staff during busy service periods
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently delivered
  • Manage cash handling, reconciliations and end-of-shift procedures
  • Maintain compliance with RSA, RSG/RCG and venue policies
  • Support stock control, venue presentation and general operational standards
  • Respond to customer enquiries, feedback and service issues in a professional manner

About You We are seeking candidates who bring:
  • A strong interest in hospitality, TAB and venue operations
  • The ability to lead or develop into leading a team
  • Confidence in customer-facing and fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Current RSA and RSG/RCG
