Acclaimed Workforce is a specialist recruitment and labour hire agency servicing wine, manufacturing and warehousing employers in key regional hubs. We are currently looking to add multiple Cellar Hand Operators to work for our client, based in the Barossa Valley for casual ongoing work at their bottling facility.
**Please note this is NOT a Vintage/ Seasonal role and is based at a packaging & bottling facility**

What does the role involve
• Load / unload tankers, prioritising safety and compliance
• Preparation & transferring of juice and wine, ready to be bottled - transfers between tanks
• Operate & maintain relevant equipment, physical manual labour - lifting/moving heavy hoses
• Accurately document records of cellar operations
• Clean tanks, equipment and work areas to quality food safety standards
• An understanding of Cellar Hand processes - desirable but not essential
To be successful in this role, you must:
• Have availability to work 5 days a week - Monday to Friday, working across a weekly rotating roster
• Be able to perform the physical requirements for the role - moving & connecting heavy hoses, standing for long periods
• Possess good work ethics (highly reliable) and have a keen interest to learn new skills/tasks
• Have the ability to take directions and follow instruction accurately
• Be 18+ years of age
• Hold a current valid driver’s licence, have your own reliable transport (no public transport options to or from site due to location)
• Possess unrestricted working rights in Australia. Applicants residing overseas will not be considered. We are seeking long-term workers in the region.
Successful applicants must have the ability to pass the Acclaimed Workforce pre-employment criteria which will include a musculoskeletal assessment with drug and alcohol testing.
A minimum of two (2) contactable, work-related referees must be supplied to be considered for the positions.
