In this role, you’ll work with cutting-edge automotive technology, featuring the latest developments in electric vehicles (EV)—both for current models and those soon to be launched. You’ll play a vital part in delivering the high standards Polestar is known for, ensuring every vehicle is prepared and maintained to perfection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-delivery inspections to ensure each vehicle meets manufacturer standards before delivery
- Use diagnostic software to verify vehicle functionality and identify issues
- Complete routine checks, calibrations, and minor mechanical adjustments
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues for both new and pre-owned vehicles
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance as needed
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Operations Team on diagnosis and repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and uphold company standards
- Participate in ongoing training to keep pace with the latest automotive technology advances
- Certificate III or equivalent qualification as an Automotive Technician
- Experience in a dealership, OEM, or reputable service environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with electric vehicles (EVs) highly regarded
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Right to work in Australia (Australian citizen or Permanent Resident preferred)
