Workplace Safety

Workplace Safety

Safety is everyone’s responsibility

Acclaimed Workforce is committed to your continued wellbeing and aim to ensure you are safe from injury and risk while at work.

No business practice is more important to us than our Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.

The effectiveness of our workplace safety systems depends on your commitment and support, and it is important that you understand the responsibility for your own safety in the workplace.

We ask that you commit to:

  • Observing and complying with all health and safety standards and rules of the site
  • Following safety signage, warnings or instructions provided by your Host Employer
  • Ensuring that you are working safely, reporting any concerns immediately
  • Promoting a safe working culture within the workplace at all times

It is important to understand your responsibilities in the workplace and familiarise yourself with our OHS policy.

Workplace injuries and accidents

As your employer, it is our legal obligation to register any injuries you sustain in the workplace, no matter how minor they may be.

If you are injured at work, you should immediately seek first aid if necessary, and report the incident to your supervisor and consultant.

Report injury, incident or hazard

Workers Compensation

Acclaimed Workforce is covered for Workers Compensation insurance.

Normal practice and our expectation is rehabilitation, and your subsequent return to work, will commence as soon as soon as you are able. Suitable duties will be provided where possible as part of this process, and an appointment to see a doctor may be arranged for you, so please follow the workplace injury guidelines for your state. If you have any questions or concerns at all, please contact your consultant.

You can also download our Workplace Safety Guide that will provide more information and help to mitigate your risk of injury.

Drug & Alcohol Policy

Acclaimed Workforce has a zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy. It is our expectation that no employee will attend work under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or consume such substances in the workplace. Doing so can jeopardise your own health and safety and that of those around you.

We perform regular random drug tests to ensure compliance and support the continued wellbeing of our workforce. Learn more about our OHS policy below.
